The Panasonic DVD LS86 features an 8.5 ” wide-screen pivoting display which allows you to watch videos from flexible angles. It has up to 13 hours of playback on a full battery charge. This makes it ideal for people who want to watch movies on long journeys.
The screen is quite large, measuring 8.5 inches. You can adjust it’s position to multiple different angles so you can watch in a comfortable position. It’s also possible to adjust the brightness of the screen, this comes in handy when trying to tackle glare from the sunlight. The device can handle several different types of pre-recorded DVDs, which includes DVD-RAM/-R/-RW1 and DVD+R/+RW1 discs. It can also playback several music formats, including MP3s, WMA files, CDs, & CD-R/RWs.
An in-built rechargable battery is included with the Panasonic DVD-LS86. You can watch roughly 6 DVD movies from a single charge. You can listen to the audio via the in-built stereo speakers, or you can listen privately by making use of the headphone jack.

The Panasonic DVD LS86 is a gem of a device with a battery life that is quite astounding. The speakers on the device are very loud, and video quality is as good as you’d expect.
The screen angle is adjustable and doesn’t take up too much of a footprint. It can be placed on the dash for all to see. The screen works well even when it is bright ouside, making it great for long car journeys.
One drawback is that it is a little bulky when it is folded up. This could be a slight issue if travelling on a plane.
With such an impressive battery life, the DVD LS86 is great bang for your buck.
